The Journey of Holy Week

Day 1 – Palm Sunday: The Triumphal Entry 🌿

Summary: Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, fulfilling prophecy. People welcomed Him with palm branches, shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” It reminds us to welcome Jesus as King in our hearts.

Day 2 – Monday: Jesus Cleanses the Temple 🏛️

• Summary: Jesus overturned the money changers’ tables, declaring that God’s house should be a house of prayer. It teaches us to worship with sincerity and keep our hearts pure.

Day 3 – Tuesday: The Olivet Discourse 📜

Summary: Jesus taught about faithfulness, the end times, and the Kingdom of God. This day encourages us to stay spiritually awake and prepared.

Day 4 – Wednesday: The Betrayal Plan 🪙

Summary: Judas Iscariot planned to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. This reminds us of the dangers of greed, temptation, and spiritual compromise.

Day 5 –  Thursday: The Last Supper 🍞🍷

Summary: Jesus celebrated the Passover meal with His disciples, instituting Holy Communion. He also washed their feet, teaching humility and love.

Day 6 – Good Friday: The Crucifixion ✝️

• Summary: Jesus endured mockery, suffering, and was nailed to the cross for our sins. He cried out, “It is finished.” His sacrifice brings redemption and eternal life.

Day 7 – Silent Saturday: A Day of Waiting 🤍

Summary: Jesus lay in the tomb, and His followers mourned. It was a time of sorrow but also hope, as they awaited His resurrection.

Day 8 – Resurrection Sunday: Jesus Is Alive! 🌅

Summary: On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead, conquering sin and death! His resurrection is the foundation of Christian faith, bringing new life and salvation.
