📖 Key Verse:
Book of Nahum 1:15
“Behold, upon the mountains the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace…”
Opening Prayer
“Lord, on this day, awaken our hearts through Your Word. Let us hear Your message of peace. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
Introduction
Dear ones…
In the days of Nahum, the people of Judah lived in fear.
Assyria was a cruel empire.
Wherever they went, they left behind:
- Bloodshed
- Slavery
- Fear
- Destruction
But one day, God declared:
“Enough is enough…
The tears of My people are enough…
Now, good news is on its way…”
Then, a messenger came running across the mountains.
His feet appeared beautiful.
Why?
Because—
He was bringing good news!
Point 1:
Feet That Bring Good News
“Bringing good news…”
In those days, there were no telephones…
No text messages…
Once a battle had ended, a messenger would come running to announce:
- “Victory has been won!”
- “The enemy has been defeated!”
- “You need no longer fear!”
That is why the people rejoiced at the sight of the messenger’s feet. —
From a Spiritual Perspective
Even today, God is sending forth certain people.
Who are they?
- Evangelists
- Pastors
- Missionaries
- Prayer Warriors
What they bring is this:
- Jesus saves
- Bondages are broken
- There is forgiveness for sin
- There is peace
A Call to the Church
Dear Church…
God desires to make us—you and me—those very feet.
We must go to the villages…
We must go to the homes…
We must go to the places where tears are shed…
For there are still so many people waiting, asking:
“Will no one come to share the Good News?”
Topic 2:
The Message of Peace
“…the one who brings a message of peace…”
A person may smile on the outside…
But on the inside, there is a war raging.
- Family problems
- Debts
- Illness
- The burden of sin
- Fear
- Despair
But what Jesus offers is not the peace of this world.
Jesus Christ said:
“I give you peace…”
Where Is True Peace Found?
- It is not in money
- It is not in position or status
- It is not in people
True peace:
Is found only in the presence of Jesus.
An Illustration
Amidst a raging storm, a small bird sat peacefully inside a tiny crevice within a rock.
Outside, the storm…
Inside, perfect peace…
That is the peace of God.
Even if the circumstances do not change…
The heart is transformed. —
Point 3:
“Judah, Keep Your Festivals”
God says:
“Now, worship again!”
For the enemy is departing.
How do many people behave?
In times of trouble:
- Fasting
- Prayer
- Vows
But after the blessing arrives?
- Prayer diminishes
- Church attendance drops
- Holiness wanes
Yet God declares:
“Fulfill your vows.”
In Our Lives
When God delivers you:
- There must be gratitude
- There must be service
- There must be dedication
Point 4:
The Enemy Will Roam No More
“The wicked one shall no longer roam among you…”
Assyria was mighty.
But when God’s judgment fell—
An entire kingdom crumbled.
The Spiritual Significance
Even today:
- Bonds of sin
- Torments of Satan
- Generational curses
- Fears
Are broken in the name of Jesus.
Declare It Boldly
Satan does not have the final say!
God alone has the final say!
Sickness does not have the final say!
Jesus has the final say!
Suffering is not the final word!
Victory is coming!
Conclusion
The word God speaks to you today is this:
“Good news is coming…”
“Peace is coming…”
“The enemy is falling…”
The feet appearing upon the mountains—
Are bringing the message of victory from Jesus Christ. —

Closing Prayer
“My Lord, remove every fear from my life. Grant us Your peace. Transform me into feet that proclaim the Gospel. I pray in the name of Jesus christ. Amen.”
