Christian Prayer Watch Hours

Prayer watch hours are eight specific 3-hour blocks that divide the 24-hour day. These are known as the 8 prayer watches in biblical tradition. The Bible often mentions these watches during key spiritual events.

These are the watches:

  • First Watch: 6 PM – 9 PM

  • Second Watch: 9 PM – 12 AM

  • Third Watch: 12 AM – 3 AM

  • Fourth Watch: 3 AM – 6 AM

  • Fifth Watch: 6 AM – 9 AM
