Easter Message: Walk with Jesus by Faith

Easter Message: Walk with Jesus by Faith   Easter is one of the most powerful reminders of God’s love and the promise of new beginnings. It’s a time of joy, peace, and hope. On Easter, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again on the third day. Because of His victory over death, we can receive salvation and enjoy a new life in Him.

Whether you’re waking up feeling joyful or searching for peace, let this morning prayer guide your heart today.

Start Your Easter Morning with Prayer

Let’s begin with a simple powerful morning prayer:

“Dear my Father, thank You for this new morning. Thank You for the gift of life and the hope that Easter brings. I praise You for the resurrection of Jesus, my Savior. Today, I ask for Your peace, strength, and guidance. Bless my day with Your love. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.”

This short morning prayer is a way to give your day to God and receive His peace.

Lamentations 3:22–23 (KJV)
“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

Why Easter Matters: The Message of Salvation

Easter is more than a celebration — it’s the foundation of our faith. Jesus died for our sins and rose again so we could be saved.

Romans 6:23 (KJV)
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Because of Easter, we can pray the prayer of salvation and start new.

Salvation Prayer – Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior

If you’ve never said the salvation prayer, or want to renew your faith, pray this with a sincere heart:

Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I confess that I am a sinner. Please forgive me. I accept You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Spirit and help me follow You. Amen.”

Romans 10:9 (KJV)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

This is a prayer to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and begin a relationship with Him.

New Beginnings Through Christ

Easter is about new life. Just as Jesus rose from the grave, you can rise from your past into a bright future.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Here are some short prayers for new beginnings:

Prayer for a New Beginning

“My Lord, thank You for this new life. I leave my past behind and walk in the new life You have given me. Guide me every day. Amen.”

Prayer About New Beginnings

“Dear my Father, help me let go of the old and trust Your new plan. I believe in Your new start for my life. Amen.”

These new beginning prayers are perfect for Easter morning and beyond.

Daily Life After Accepting Christ

After praying the prayer of salvation, begin every day with a morning inspirational prayer.

“Good morning, Lord! Thank You for saving me. Please lead me today. Fill my heart with peace and joy. Help me grow in Your Word. Amen.”

Psalm 5:3 (KJV)
“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”

This is a great prayer for new believers who want to stay close to God.

Encouragement for New Believers

If you are a new believer, don’t be afraid. Jesus is with you always.

Hebrews 13:5 (KJV)
“I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Colossians 2:6–7 (KJV)
“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith…”

Bless Your Day with This Powerful Morning Prayer

Each day is a gift from God. Begin it with faith and joy.

This verse reminds us that Jesus is alive! Because He lives, we have hope.

Conclusion: Embrace Your New Beginning

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

Daily Devotional- April 9,2025 – Honoring God in Our Daily Life

Honoring God in Our Daily Life

Praising Verse

Thank you, Jesus, for comforting me in times of sorrow.

There are moments when sorrow fills our hearts—moments when words don’t come easily, and comfort feels far away. But Jesus never leaves us in our pain. He walks with us, holds us close, and speaks peace into our troubled hearts. Thank You, Jesus, for being my comforter when life feels heavy. You are my gentle healer and the light in my darkest times.

Faith Confession

My God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory.
(Philippians 4:19)

When we follow Jesus, we walk in the promises of His Word. Even when we don’t see how everything will work out, we can trust that God is our provider. He knows what we need—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—and He supplies it at the perfect time. This is our faith confession: Our Heavenly Father is never late, and His provision never runs dry. He gives from His glory, not our lack. Even in the wilderness, we won’t go hungry. Our God is faithful.

Daily Bible Verse

1 Samuel 2:30

“Therefore the Lord God of Israel declares, ‘I did indeed say that your house and the house of your father would walk before Me forever’; but now the Lord declares, ‘Far be it from Me—for those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me will be insignificant.’”

This verse reminds us that honoring God is not just about words—it’s about how we live. God pays attention to our hearts. He sees whether we value His presence or push Him aside. When we honor Him with our time, words, choices, and actions, He promises to honor us in return. What an amazing truth! We are not forgotten. God delights in lifting those who honor Him.

Let’s be people who respect God’s Word, love His truth, and live in a way that brings glory to His name.

Gospel Verse

Luke 19:10

“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”

Jesus came searching for us. He didn’t wait for us to find Him. He left heaven and came into a broken world just to save what was lost—you and me. This is the heart of the gospel. We were all wandering, trying to find our way, but Jesus came and gave us new direction, new purpose, and new life.

If you feel lost today, know this: Jesus is still seeking and saving. You are not invisible to Him. You are loved, seen, and wanted by the Savior who came to rescue you.

Encouragement: Living a Life that Honors God

Let’s take this message deeper and look at how we can honor God in our everyday lives. Honoring God isn’t just something we do on Sundays. It’s a daily choice—a lifestyle.

Here are a few simple but powerful ways we can honor God:

1. Honor God with Your Heart

Start each day by giving your heart to God. Speak to Him first. Invite Him into your thoughts, your feelings, and your plans. A heart that belongs to Jesus is a heart that honors Him.

Prayer:
“Jesus, today I give You my heart again. Help me to love what You love and walk in Your truth.”

2. Honor God with Your Words

Our words have power. Use them to build up, not tear down. Use them to praise, not complain. Speak life, speak faith, and speak with kindness.

Bible Reminder:
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord.” (Psalm 19:14)

3. Honor God with Your Time

Time is a gift from God. Spend some of it each day in prayer, reading the Bible, and serving others. Time spent with God is never wasted.

Even 5 minutes of sincere prayer and quiet time with Jesus can change the tone of your whole day.

4. Honor God with Your Choices

Each day brings choices—big and small. Honor God by choosing what pleases Him, even when it’s hard. Honoring God often means saying “no” to things that pull you away from Him and “yes” to things that draw you closer.

Reflection: What Does Honoring God Look Like for You Today?

Take a moment and ask:

  • How can I honor God in my home today?
  • Can I encourage someone?
  • Can I spend quiet time with God?
  • Is there something I need to surrender?

Start small. God sees the small steps, and He honors the heart behind them.

Short Prayer

My Lord Jesus,
Bless my heart with Your love and my mind with Your wisdom.
Guide my steps and keep me close to You.
May everything I do today bring honor to You, my Savior.
Teach me to walk in Your truth and live for Your glory.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13, NKJV)

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Final Words: Stay Faithful

As we walk through life, there will be distractions, disappointments, and doubts. But one thing remains true—God is worthy of honor. Every day is a new chance to give Him the respect, love, and worship He deserves.

Even when no one is watching, God sees your heart. Keep honoring Him in secret, and He will reward you openly. Keep praising when it’s hard. Keep trusting when it’s tough. Keep loving when it’s not returned. God sees it all.

Remember His promise:

“Those who honor Me, I will honor.” (1 Samuel 2:30)

Let that promise encourage you today and every day. Live a life that brings joy to your Father in heaven, and you will never walk alone.

Walking in Faith: A Daily Devotion of Praise, Promise, and Power

Each day is a gift from God. Whether it brings joy or challenges, we can choose to walk through it with faith in Jesus. When we start our day with praise, declare God’s promises, meditate on His Word, and seek the gospel truth, our hearts are strengthened and our minds are filled with peace.

Today’s devotion is centered on humility, faith, God’s strength, salvation in Jesus, and a simple prayer to begin your day in His presence.

🙌 Praising Verse

Thank you, Jesus, for teaching me the value of humility.

There is something beautiful about a heart that is humble. Humility is not weakness—it is strength under control. Jesus, our Savior, was the perfect example of humility. Though He is the King of kings, He came to this world as a servant. He washed His disciples’ feet, He sat with sinners, and He walked with the broken.

When we say, “Thank you, Jesus, for teaching me the value of humility,” we are not just expressing gratitude—we are also committing to follow His example.

Humility helps us listen more, love deeper, and serve others with joy. It removes pride from our hearts and allows God to lift us up in His perfect time.

Let this be your praise today:
“Lord, I don’t want to think too highly of myself. I want to walk in Your footsteps, showing kindness, grace, and compassion. Thank You for showing me how.”

🛡️ Faith Confession

No weapon formed against me shall prosper. – Isaiah 54:17

Life is not always easy. There are spiritual battles, emotional struggles, and real enemies of faith that try to discourage us. But God gives us a powerful promise in Isaiah 54:17: No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

Notice what the verse says—it doesn’t say the weapon will never form. It says it won’t prosper.

You may feel pressure or face attacks—at work, in your home, or even in your thoughts—but they will not succeed. Why? Because God is with you.

When you make this confession daily, you are declaring:

  • I belong to Jesus.
  • I am covered by His blood.
  • I have victory, not defeat.
  • I stand in faith, not fear.

Let this confession rise in your heart today:
“Even if I face storms, I will not sink. Even if I walk through fire, I will not burn. No weapon—spiritual, emotional, physical, or mental—will destroy me. Jesus is my defender.”

📖 Daily Bible Verse

Psalm 46:1 – “God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], A very present and well-proved help in trouble [He is near when we need Him].”

This verse is a beautiful reminder that we are never alone. God is not far away. He is not silent in times of trouble. He is near. He is ready. He is present.

Think of a strong tower that cannot be broken—that’s your God. Think of a mighty hand that lifts you up—that’s your God. Think of a quiet whisper that brings peace—that’s your God.

God is our refuge – He is our safe place.
God is our strength – He gives us the power to move forward.
God is present – He’s not distant. He is with us in every moment.

Have you ever faced a day when you felt weak? Maybe you’re facing one now. Let this verse fill your heart with hope. Say it out loud. Write it on a note. Carry it in your heart.

When trouble comes, don’t run in fear—run to your refuge.

✝️ Gospel Verse

Acts 4:12 – “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

This verse is the foundation of our faith. There is only one name that can save us—the name of Jesus. He is not one way among many. He is the Way.

In today’s world, people search for peace in many places—in success, relationships, money, or even religion. But salvation is not found in efforts. It is found in grace. And that grace is only available through Jesus Christ.

Acts 4:12 is a bold truth. It reminds us that Jesus is not just a good teacher or a kind prophet—He is the Savior of the world.

His name has power. His name brings healing. His name brings life.

If someone asks you, “What’s the way to God?”—you can say confidently, “It’s Jesus.”

Let this gospel truth sink deep into your heart:
“There is no other way to be saved. Only Jesus can give me eternal life. Only Jesus can wash away my sins. I believe in His name, and I live for Him.”

🙏 Prayer

My Lord Jesus, I surrender this day to You. Strengthen my faith, protect my heart, and lead me in Your truth.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.

Prayer doesn’t have to be long or complicated. It just needs to be honest. When you begin your day with surrender, you give God space to lead you, bless you, and strengthen you.

In this short prayer, we ask three important things:

  • Strengthen my faith – because sometimes doubts come.
  • Protect my heart – because the world can be harsh.
  • Lead me in Your truth – because we want to walk in God’s will, not our own.

When you pray this prayer each morning, you place yourself under God’s loving care. You’re not walking alone. You’re walking with Jesus.

Take a moment now. Close your eyes. Breathe slowly. Pray from your heart:

“Jesus, I give You this day. My thoughts, my plans, my worries, my hopes—I place them all in Your hands. Lead me, Lord. Keep me strong. I trust You completely.”

💬 Reflection for Today

  • How can I show humility in my words and actions today?
  • In what areas do I need to declare “No weapon formed against me shall prosper”?
  • Do I truly believe that God is my refuge and strength?
  • Am I ready to boldly say, “Jesus is the only way” to those around me?
  • Have I fully surrendered this day to the Lord?

You don’t have to be perfect to walk in faith. You just need to walk with Jesus—step by step, prayer by prayer, verse by verse.

🌟 Daily Faith Challenge

👉 Today, write down the gospel verse from Acts 4:12 on a small card or paper. Carry it with you. Whenever you feel uncertain or challenged, read it aloud.

Daily Devotional – April 3 , 2025

Praising Verse:

Thank you, Jesus, for your forgiveness and mercy.

Faith Confession:

The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing. (Psalm 23:1)

Daily Bible Verse:
Genesis 28:15: “Behold, I am with you and will keep [careful watch over] you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

Gospel Verse:
Mark 16:15 – “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”

Prayer:
My Lord Jesus, thank You for Your mercy and grace. Help me to trust in You and follow Your will in all I do today.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.

Understanding God’s Forgiveness and Mercy

God’s forgiveness and mercy are two of the greatest gifts given to His children. When we stumble and fall, He is always ready to lift us up with His loving arms. The Bible repeatedly reassures us that God’s mercy is endless and His forgiveness is available to all who seek it with a sincere heart.

The verse from Genesis 28:15 is a powerful reminder that God is always with us. He promises to watch over us wherever we go. In moments of doubt and uncertainty, we can hold onto this promise and find comfort in His presence.

Psalm 23:1 states, “The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing.” This means that with God, we have everything we need. He provides for us, protects us, and leads us through life’s journey. Our faith confession today reaffirms that truth and encourages us to trust in His divine provision.

The Great Commission: Sharing the Gospel with the World

Mark 16:15 commands us to go into all the world and preach the gospel. This is a call for every believer. We are not to keep the good news to ourselves but to share it with those around us. The world is in need of God’s love, and we are His messengers.

Spreading the gospel can take many forms. Whether through personal testimony, acts of kindness, or sharing God’s Word on social media, every effort counts. As Christians, we should always be prepared to speak of God’s goodness and His salvation plan.

Walking in Faith Daily

Living a life of faith requires daily surrender to God’s will. Trusting Him in all circumstances is a journey that requires patience and perseverance. The Bible encourages us to rely on God rather than our own understanding. When we do so, He directs our paths.

As we meditate on today’s faith confession, “The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing,” let us remember that God is always in control. He knows our needs and provides for us accordingly. When challenges arise, we can lean on Him for strength and guidance.

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is an essential part of our spiritual journey. It allows us to communicate with God, seek His guidance, and receive His peace. The prayer for today is a simple yet profound plea for help and direction.

By surrendering our will to God, we invite Him to lead us in all areas of our lives. When we pray, we must do so with faith, believing that He hears and answers our prayers according to His perfect will.

As we continue our walk with Christ, let us remain steadfast in prayer, trusting that He is working all things together for our good.

Conclusion

Today’s scripture readings and reflections remind us of God’s unwavering presence in our lives. He is our Shepherd, our protector, and our provider. As we go about our day, may we hold onto His promises and live out our faith boldly.

May we also be encouraged to share the gospel with others, extending the same grace and love that God has given us. Let us walk in faith, trusting in His divine plan for our lives.

Prayer:
My Lord Jesus, thank You for Your mercy and grace. Help me to trust in You and follow Your will in all I do today.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray, Amen.
